Sketching with Cacao du Bresil

My attempt to sketch J. Herbin's Cacao du Bresil, using the said ink in the Jinhao 82 with an <M> nib.

Cacao du Bresil is a brown-grey ink that looks cool-neutral. Washed out, it looks almost mauve. It's the first fountain pen ink I've tried and, so far, my favorite. It's very pleasing and soothing to the eyes.

One of my reasons for starting out with fountain pens is to get into sketching. I'm still trying to figure out which style I prefer--long, precise strokes or shorter, pencil-like strokes.
